Mattress Warranty
Mattress Warranty
At Sunday Home, our mattresses are backed by a 10-Year Limited Warranty covering qualifying defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, begins on the date of delivery, and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase is required.
What This Warranty Covers
This limited warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects, including:
- A visible indentation greater than 3/4 inch that is not associated with a sagging or improper foundation, slats, box spring, platform, or other support surface
- Physical flaws in the mattress core that split or crack despite normal use and proper handling
- Defects in the mattress cover caused by defective materials or workmanship for 2 years under normal care and use
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Comfort preference or a change in feel over time
- Normal wear and tear, including increased softness, decreased elasticity, slight body impressions, and changes in support that occur with regular use
- Stains, liquid damage, burns, cuts, rips, fading, pilling, shrinkage of the cover, or unsanitary conditions
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper care, or use other than normal sleeping or lounging
- Commercial use
- Claims made without proof of purchase
- Mattresses with the law tag removed
- Mattresses purchased from an unauthorized dealer
Proper Support Is Required
To remain eligible for warranty coverage, the mattress must be used on a proper supportive surface, such as:
- a continuously solid surface
- an adjustable base
- or sturdy slats no more than 2 inches apart
The support system must also accommodate both the mattress and its users.
Mattress Care Requirements
To help preserve your mattress and maintain warranty eligibility:
- keep all law tags attached
- use the mattress only for normal residential sleeping or lounging
- rotate the mattress periodically for more even wear
- do not stand or jump on the mattress
- do not fold or bend it for an extended period
- do not allow excessive moisture to saturate the mattress
A mattress protector is strongly recommended, since bodily fluids, spills, stains, or any damage caused by the purchaser are not covered under warranty.
How Warranty Claims Work
If you believe your mattress has a qualifying defect, please contact Sunday Home and we will help guide you through the claim process. You may be asked to provide:
- Your order number
- proof of purchase
- clear photos of the issue
- a photo of the law tag
If the claim is approved under the applicable written warranty, the mattress may be repaired or replaced at the warrantor’s discretion. If identical materials are not available, comparable materials of equal or greater quality or comfort rating may be substituted. The written manufacturer warranty states that the purchaser is responsible for transportation costs required to return the product for claim validation.
Important Note
This warranty covers qualifying defects only. It does not cover normal softening, normal body impressions, or personal comfort preferences. For a body impression claim to qualify, the indentation must be visible and greater than 3/4 inch, and it must not be caused by an improper or sagging support system.
